Eyemist E/D 10 ml is an ophthalmic lubricant solution containing Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) as its active ingredient, manufactured by Sun Pharma Laboratories. It is primarily used for the temporary relief of dry eye disease, burning, irritation, and discomfort caused by insufficient tear production or environmental factors like wind and sun exposure.

The medication works by increasing the viscosity of the tear film, which helps retain moisture on the ocular surface and reduces tear evaporation. Common side effects may include temporary blurred vision, eye stinging, or irritation upon application.
