Alphagan 0.20% Eye Drop is used to treat Glaucoma or Ocular Hypertension (pressure in the eye) by lowering the raised pressure.

Alphagan contains Brimonidine, which helps reduce the Intraocular Pressure of infected eyes. Reducing the pressure in the eye lowers the risk of vision loss in patients’ eyesight. If prescribed by a healthcare worker, Alphagan 0.20% can be used with other eye drops.

How to Use Alphagan Eye Drop

The direction for using Alphagan eye drops is as follows:

Wash your hands before starting the process. Avoid touching any foreign surfaces
Shake the eye drop properly
Tilt your head down as low as possible
Open the lid of the eyedrop
Pull down your lower eyelid with one of your fingers
Put a drop or two of the medication (as your physician prescribes) on your inner lower eyelid area by squeezing the medicine
Close your eyes for around 1-2 minutes
Remove your contact lenses (if applicable) at least 15 minutes before using the medication. The same goes for putting them back
