Moisol-Z Eye Drops
Moisol-Z Eye Drops is a combination of medicines that is used to treat dry eyes. It relieves the symptoms of dry eyes such as pain, discomfort and irritation. It also provides lubrication to the eyes and helps in maintaining the moisture of the eyes.
Moisol-Z Eye Drops is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.
The most common side effects include blurring of vision at the application site. If this side effect persists for a longer duration, inform your doctor. In case by accident, this medicine goes into your ears, nose or mouth, immediately rinse it with water.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or are allergic to this medicine or taking any other medication. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after use of this medicine as it may cause blurring of vision and may affect your ability to drive.
- Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (Hypromellose 0.3% w/v): Acts as an artificial tear to restore natural moisture and lubricate the eye surface.
- Sodium Perborate Monohydrate (0.03% w/v): Functions as an oxidative preservative with antimicrobial properties.
- Usage Frequency: Apply as needed or precisely as directed by your healthcare professional.
- Application Steps: Wash your hands, tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket, and squeeze the drop in without touching the dropper tip to your eye. Close your eyes gently for a short period afterward.
- Contact Lenses: Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
- Side Effects: Temporary blurred vision, mild burning, stinging, or eye redness can occur immediately after use. Avoid driving or operating machinery until your vision clears.
- Storage & Shelf Life: Store below 30°C away from direct sunlight. Discard the bottle 4 weeks after opening to prevent bacterial contamination.
